Jovana Milovanović is the Director of Direct Point, bringing extensive experience in international relations, regional cooperation, and strategic advisory.
She holds a degree in International Relations from the Faculty of Political Sciences, where she also completed her master’s thesis in the field of regional security and defense initiatives in the Balkans. She is currently finalizing her doctoral dissertation focused on regional cooperation in combating organized crime and terrorism.
Prior to her work in the private advisory sector, Jovana held senior roles in public institutions. She served as Assistant Minister for International Relations, European Integration, and Projects at the Ministry of Labour, Employment, and Social Policy. In this role, she contributed to international cooperation initiatives and development projects.
She also worked as an Advisor for Bilateral Relations with European countries at the Ministry of Defense, where she participated in diplomatic and international cooperation initiatives.
In addition to her governmental roles, Jovana collaborated on projects with the Center for International Humanitarian Law, international organizations, and the European Center for Peace and Development.
She is a licensed mediator certified by the Ministry of Justice and is currently in the process of obtaining a professional lobbyist license.
As a strategic consultant, she collaborates with domestic and international organizations and companies, providing advisory services in areas including international cooperation, strategic partnerships, and project development.
Throughout her career, she has participated in numerous professional training programs organized by leading international institutions, including the European Forum Alpbach, the National Democratic Institute, and the NATO School Oberammergau.
